A recreation of the Rage Blaster weapon pickup from Super Smash Bros Ultimate as prop and style emulation practice. I enjoyed the unique look of this weapon and it was fun sculpting out the organic details of the weapon. The hard surfaces were modeled in Maya while the organic 'jaws' were sculpted in ZBrush and brought to Maya for retopologizing and unwrapping. It was then textured in Substance 3D Painter, given a simple rig in Maya, and rendered stills in Arnold with a turnaround rendered in Unreal Engine 5.1.
